Top Skills:The client is looking for a solid functional resource, who could implement Oracle Services Procurement and Procurement Contracts modules.
This person will work closely with Oracle e-Business Suite professionals that work to support the Oracle Release 12.1.3 products, primarily Procurement, i-Procurement, and associated extensions and customizations. Currently, Oracle Procurement, i-Procurement, General Ledger, Project Costing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, i-Expense and associated extensions are included in the Oracle Suite of products being utilized. The application is highly customized.Primary responsibility will include the functional tasks required to implement Services Procurement and Procurement Contracts modules. Responsibilities will include defining project requirements, creating MD-50 documentation, BR-100 documentation, process mapping the existing and to-be states, providing an analysis of a phased approach to the implementation, working directly with the technical team to assist in project execution, creating test plans, writing user documentation, assisting with the creation and delivery of user training materials, mentoring other functional project team members, and all other project lifecycle steps necessary to successfully deliver both modules by the established deadline. Will also follow defined standards and processes, change management processes, and other company policies and regulations.The required functional skills include experience successfully implementing Services Procurement to a production state. Not required, but highly preferred, is past experience successfully implementing the Procurement Contracts module to a production state. The current e-Business Suite implementation includes many interfaces and enhancements within the Purchasing Module including wholly internally developed Just-In-Time (JIT) and Requisition Compliance Review (RCR) modules that must be understood to ensure any design solution will integrate with existing Oracle modules and interfacing applications. Shared HR is being used with PeopleSoft as the system of record.Required Skills:Ability to write MD-50 and BR-100 documentation, deep understanding of Oracle Procurement Services module, experience working with highly customized environments, knowledge and experience on i-Procurement and Procurement Oracle EBS modules.Must Possess:Ability to lead and cross train others on successful implementing modules from a Functional perspective. Must be a strong communicator familiar with standard project lifecycle phases and associated deliverables.Qualifications:Successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and recent experience with at least 3 years relevant, progressively responsible experience related to Procurement Services and Procurement Contracts.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.Written communication skills including the ability to document functional requirements and specifications, technical design documentation, test plans and training materials.Excellent problem solving skills.Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain strong and effective customer relations. Ability to multi-task and to work effectively in an independent and dynamic environment while balancing and prioritizing a heavy workload.
