As a Business Development Representative, you will have a key role interacting with our prospects and you will have the opportunity to directly impact our company's bottom line by identifying new opportunities for the sales team. Primary responsibilities will include collaboration with the sales and marketing organizations, qualification of inbound leads, and generation of new leads through outbound prospecting activities. There is opportunity to grow and expand in this role for career advancement into a Sales Account Executive. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and the position is located in our Baltimore office unless otherwise indicated.
What you'll do day to day:
- Perform outbound calling to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline
- Respond to inbound inquiries generated by marketing
- Qualify prospects to determine product fit and possible objections
- Schedule meetings/demos for Sales Account Executives after qualifying leads
- Maintain the company’s CRM (customer relationship management) tool
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 0-2 years of experience in sales or similar client support role
- Can multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Has outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Is self motivated and can work under very little supervision
- Has experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other Customer Relationship Management software (CRM).
