Responsibilities:

  • Receives order acknowledgments from vendor(s) to update purchasing system.
  • Ensuring purchase order confirmations received are accurate and updated into the business system. Resolving any discrepancies.
  • Monitor open orders and follow-up with suppliers to ensure order production/delivery is on track.
  • Develop working relationships with vendors and sales team with ethical business practices of the company.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and sales team.
  • Any and all other tasks assigned which are related to the position.

Requirements:
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
  • Perseverance to see issues through to a resolution.
  • Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision.
  • Retail background - Preferred
  • Knowledge of the industry including supplier and competitors - Preferred
