Salaried Real Estate Agent | DC Listing Agent

    This position is for you if you love working with home sellers. In this role, you will help sellers list and sell properties and will oversee the entire transaction from listing consult to closing. You will be required to provide an outstanding client experience and a high level of expertise as an agent. In addition to this, you will be expected to provide prompt follow up to all assigned leads from Houwzer sources. Data entry is also important to this role and you will have to maintain accurate data on all leads and clients in the Houwzer CRM.

    What Will Be Expected of You
    • Respond promptly to incoming inquiries from new leads and document in Houwzer CRM.
    • Develop a personal sphere (Circle of Influence) to self-generate new leads.
    • Create Comparative Market Analysis and listing folders for listing consultations.
    • Meet with prospective clients for listing consultations.
    • Connect client to Listing Team Administrator with introduction email. 
    • Respond to current and past clients via email, phone, text, or in-person meetings.
    • Counsel clients by educating them on the transaction process and paperwork, current market conditions, and possible hurdles that could arise.
    • Advise clients on possible updates to the home prior to listing and how to prepare the home for Open Houses.
    • Negotiate throughout the transaction process on behalf of your clients, including offer price, reply to inspections, and appraisal outcome.
    • Monitor all under contract listings to ensure a closed deal.
    • Prepare clients for inspections and closings.
    • Ensure settlement checks and closing documents are immediately given to the Operations Manager or Team Admin.
    • Regularly and accurately enter data into company CRM.
    • Have a positive “do whatever it takes” and “all hands on deck” attitude 
    • Visit listed properties as needed.
    • Send out postcards to FSBO, expired, and withdrawn listings.
    • Attend community events to create brand awareness.
    • Attend required company meetings.
    • Volunteer 50 hours per year.

    Education and/or Experience
    High School diploma plus two years of experience working as a Realtor. A minimum of 20 closed transactions is preferred. A PA Real Estate Salesperson License or Broker License is also required. 

    Other Skills, Abilities, or Qualifications
    • Tech-savvy and familiar with CRM and real estate applications, such as TREND MLS, Zillow, and Trulia, as well as mobile technology.
    • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to network in order to build your business.
    • Great interpersonal and customer service skills that align with our mission and values.
    • Active Real Estate License in good standing.
    • Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail.
    • The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
    • Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed by clients.
    • Successfully complete any regulatory and job training requirements.
    • Enter data accurately into a computer using software applications for data entry and word processing as assigned by the company.
    • Advanced expertise in using the Google Suite of applications.
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a speed of work and attention to detail without loss to production.
    • Ability to work with others in a team environment.

    Physical Demands
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, go up and down stairs, use a motor vehicle, be on feet for up to four hours, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  
    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
