We are looking for an energetic, smart HR Business Partner / HR Manager who possesses a genuine excitement for improving the way people work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Human Resources experience in a contact center environment and a high level of administrative expertise and emotional intelligence. You should love partnering with leaders and managing challenging employee relations situations ranging from performance management to investigations. This will require you to have autonomous thought and decision-making abilities to meet the needs of the HONK population.
Responsibilities:
- You’re an extension of our employees - initiate and participate in projects that drive business improvement, engage with employees/managers to understand culture and connect with the team, and participate in and lead change initiatives and communication efforts.
- Lead, execute, and improve elements of the core HR functions including Compensation, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Succession Planning, Training/Development, policy formulation, etc.
- Leading through challenging employee relations situations including investigations, performance and behavior management, and terminations.
- Extract and share relevant insights to coach and empower leaders to positively influence and impact workplace culture in alignment with our People First culture.
- Talent Acquisition/Management – partner with the supervisors/management team to ensure the most qualified associates are hired. This includes job description creation and maintenance and interviews.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years Human Resources Generalist experience including heavy experience with Employee Relations.
- Working and practical knowledge of multiple Human Resource disciplines, including data management, employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Participate in recruitment efforts and aid in scheduling interviews, reference checks, screening and sourcing, etc.
- Use your strong leadership, relationship building, and coaching skills to keep HONK one of the best companies to work for.
- Plan HONK activities including company meetings, parties, off site events, contests, lunches, birthday celebrations etc.
Nice To Haves:
- PHR/SHRM certification
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite and experience with an HRIS System-based software
