Event Marketing Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to help build brand awareness, earn the trust of consumers and generate leads through event marketing and community engagement. The Event Marketing Manager will primarily be responsible for the planning, marketing, and management of events throughout Utah. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, an exceptional communicator, and highly creative.

Event Marketing Manager Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple vendors, employees and brand ambassadors in the planning, and execution of events.
  • Understand the complex needs of different events and diverse audiences.
  • Establish measurable objectives for each event including lead generation and measurable branding goals.
  • Delegate event planning tasks to other team members as necessary.
  • Manage budgets to drive a high return on marketing spend.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective audience acquisition campaigns to promote each event – pre-, on-site, and post. (Social media, email, PPC ads, etc.)
  • Assist in creating partner sponsorship opportunities for current and future events.
  • Lead a team of  Community Managers and Brand Ambassadors.
  • Work closely with sales and customer success leadership to staff events and drive high-quality post-event lead to follow up.
  • Set and evangelize vision for events program internally. Develop a clear strategy around how events program ties into larger marketing and sales motions.

Event Marketing Manager Requirements And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience.
  • Detail-oriented with extreme organization, to manage the many aspects of an event.
  • Previous event planning experience.
  • Familiarity with registration and conference management tools, as well as CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
  • Team management experience.
  • Track Event ROI and Budget Alignment with assigned events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to present event ideas and plans to stakeholders, executives, and vendors.
  • Must be prepared to work diligently, be flexible, meet deadlines and be able to take direction.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to staff and execute events.

Travel
  • Up to 25% of the time

Salary:

  • Full-time
  • $50,000
