Hint Health is looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineering Manager to help us bring much needed change to the US healthcare system. Reporting to the CTO, you'll play a pivotal role in Hint’s success by leading and growing one of our three teams and supporting significant new product development. As engineering management is a new discipline at Hint, you’ll help us define responsibilities, processes and cultivate a stellar engineering department.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and rapidly scale our SF/US team from three to seven engineers in 6 months.
- Partner with product to ensure the successful delivery of a strategic new product.
- Invest in the professional growth, development and success of your direct reports.
- Maintain a high bar of technical excellence through feedback, reviews, pairing and best practices.
- Champion a collaborative, inclusive work environment that fosters transparency, humility and personal growth.
- Be accountable for teams execution and delivery against product objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a software engineering manager.
- 2+ years a senior engineer or equivalent.
- Deep experience with relevant web development technologies and practices. We use Angular and React, Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Postgresql, Redis.
- This position will work out of our SF Office.
