Recruitment Marketing Intern (Fall Semester)

  • The H-Team has an exciting career-building opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Human Resources team as a Recruitment Marketing Intern! This position will provide exposure to the field of HR and Marketing via contribution to talent management initiatives such as attracting, retaining, rewarding and engaging talent. The Intern will primarily assist the Recruiter; contributing to successful strategy development for recruitment marketing.

    Recruitment Marketing Intern Primary Responsibilities: 
    • Market job opportunities to candidates, bringing top talent to the H-team.
    • “Sell” working for the H-Team by promoting our employment brand on social media.
    • Create an improved recruitment presence on social media; constructing content calendars, attaining internal approval, and building a following.
    • Design innovative programs to boost engagement and following for existing channels.
    • Assist in the writing, editing, and proofreading of recruitment marketing content, including web pages, social media, and print materials; optimize and resize digital graphics.
    • Track, provide and present analytics from the success of marketing campaigns. Generate ongoing reports.
    • Use, maintain and improve Wordpress based internal employee website.
    • Work with both Human Resources and Marketing departments to ensure the voice and brand of the H-Team are consistently established.
    • Provide support for internal company events, as well as support for recruiting engagements in the community.
    • Attend meetings relative to the HR and Marketing departments.
    •  Assist in keeping all employee information current; keep all personnel information filed properly. 
    • Assist recruiter with any ad hoc projects as needed.

    Recruitment Marketing Intern Qualifications:
    • Active enrollment at college/university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Human Resources, Public Relations, or a similar field.
    • Understanding of metrics used to measure the performance of digital marketing and analytical data processing.
    • Exceptional writing skills; the ability to write interesting and grammatically correct copy.
    • A basic understanding of how businesses use digital marketing platforms to engage and convert users into employees.
    • Expertise in digital marketing platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
    • Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects.
    • Familiarity developing, deploying, analyzing, and monitoring content and ads for social business pages on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
    • Creative, out of the box thinking and willingness to dream up and try new ways to promote our brand and roles.
    • Strong interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
    • Ability to uphold strict confidentiality.
    • Bonus if you can show proficiency with Adobe design programs including Photoshop and Illustrator. 

    Candidate must be able to commit to between 15-20 hours per week through the Fall; desired start date Tuesday, September 3rd.
