Digital Marketing Intern (Fall Semester)

  • Heritage Automotive Group’s Marketing Department has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and conscientious marketing student! The H-Team is seeking an analytical individual with initiative, strong copywriting skills, and an interest in creative. This internship is ideal for individuals interested in learning about the entire spectrum of digital marketing. 

    Primary Responsibilities: 
    The Digital Marketing Intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Digital Marketing Specialist and Web Coordinator.
    • Assist in researching and sharing social media content related to Heritage’s key priorities and impact areas.
    • Help with social media scheduling, production, and monitoring.
    • Contribute to digital analytics tracking and reporting. Assist in the tracking of how web, email, and social content performs with Heritage’s audience. Share insights with the team in department meetings.
    • Assist in the writing, editing, and proofreading of marketing content, including blog posts, web pages, social media, and print materials.
    • Optimize and resize digital graphics.
    • Help with other related duties and projects as assigned.
    • Provide general office support, such as running errands, making copies and other duties as requested.

    Qualifications: 
    • Understanding of metrics used to measure the performance of digital marketing and analytical data processing.
    • Exceptional writing skills; the ability to write interesting and grammatically correct copy.
    • A basic understanding of how businesses use digital marketing platforms to engage and convert users into customers.
    • Experience in CMS platforms, knowledge of HTML. 
    • Expertise in digital marketing platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
    • Interest or experience in Adobe Creative Suite helpful.
    • Ability to work independently and capable of taking initiative on specific projects.
    • Motivated by deadlines and fast-paced environment.
    • Applicants must be a high school graduate and currently enrolled in college.

    Intern must be able to commit to 20 hours per week through the fall and possibly more depending on our event schedule; desired start date September 3rd.
