Marketing Data & Analytics Associate

Marketing Data Analytics Associate | Toronto, Ontario

We're looking for an experienced marketing data guru with an expertise and passion for data, reporting, analytics, and tracking associated with digital marketing.

The ideal candidate will be equal part strategist and tactician. This individual should have a Data & Analytics mind set paired with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

What You Will Do:
  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns, develop KPI reports that tell the story behind the data to drive key the development of our clients Analytics team. 
  • Implementations, audit's and resolution of tag management solutions dependant on different client platforms 
  • Work with analytics leads to build out our marketing attribution capability, with a strong focus on building a best in class multi-touch attribution model
  • Implementations, audit's and issue resolution of tag management solutions dependant on specific client platforms and needs is a crucial foundational responsibility
  • Leverage BI tools in order to create data visualizations for performance reporting dashboards
  • Track investment performance via various reporting tools/dashboards + custom analytics
  • Understand performance drivers and refresh monthly outlooks to support strategic funding decisions
  • Assist with reporting and measurement to include cross-marketing and client information datasets
  • Manage ad-hoc requests and proactively analyze marketing data for key findings
  • Help enable self-service within our organization using visualization tools
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Math, or another related field is preferred
  • 2 years relevant work experience in data management or marketing analytics (preferably agency environment) 
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations using technology and modelling techniques
  • Experience with database structures and data mining techniques would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-centric focus
  • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
  • Data Visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Sisense, DOMO, Tableau, Qlik or other
  • Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager, Bing Ads, Amazon Marketing Service
  • Proficiency with the following tools preferred:
  • Tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager, TagCommander, Tealium or other equivalents
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and SQL a plus
