HR Generalist (Contract)

The HR Generalist is a consultative role with managers leading Human Resources initiatives in a variety of areas including Learning and Development, Employee Communications, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Resource Management, practice/policy interpretation and application, and other management challenges in a fast paced, innovative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with management and leadership teams to on-board, develop and nurture their teams
  • Own the on-boarding process, new hire orientation and training in collaboration with company leaders
  • Proactively manages legal risk; ensures manager and employee compliance with company guidelines, and governmental regulations
  • Develop workforce strategies to develop employees
  • Partner with to develop training programs
  • Proactively respond to employee questions regarding but not limited to the following - benefits, employee relations, and company guidelines

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, business or related fields
  • 2-5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist role, preferably in a startup or growing company
  • Highly detail oriented and ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • High business acumen to be able to effectively communicate with managers and employees
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with employee information
  • Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment
