Sr. Digital Product Consultant

Job Description
Fahren is seeking a seasoned Sr. Digital Product Consultant to lead our client's product initiatives, including the development of the product strategy, customer research, and the development of new digital products and services that drive customer engagement and business results. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create strategic roadmaps, lead the core product teams, and drive execution of these initiatives into the market. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking digital leader with a proven track record of successfully bringing new products, services, and technologies to market. 
 
Candidates should have a deep understanding of digital product management, mobile, web and other digital technologies, business strategy, and user experience (UX). Experience with agile software development methodologies and data & analytics also required. 

Sr. Digital Business Consultants are inquisitive, team-oriented problem solvers who have current, relevant functional experience (digital strategy, client experience project leadership, product management, innovation).  They also have broad industry (financial services, retail, healthcare, professional services) digital business experience coupled with a consulting or digital agency background.

The Sr. Digital Product Consultant must be able to leverage and build upon the vision of executive leadership; effectively articulate the vision and strategy in a clear concise manner that is easily understood and supported by key stakeholders and executive leadership across the organization.
 
Job Requirements: 
  • The Sr. Digital Business Consultant will serve as a digital business advisor to our clients on how to digitize business by creating and operating new digital experiences, products, and channels. Serve as a digital transformation delivery and thought leader – leveraging credible industry and functional experience to assess and scope client and partner opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships and building consensus with peers and partners across the organization
  • Help define and refine key client business goals, organizational/governance gap fillers, opportunities/problems to address, personas and user goals/journeys so that features and story points are prioritized using approved client business context, criteria and guiding principles
  • Lead the development of customer personas, journey maps, concept ideation, prototyping, and product backlogs
  • Lead customer research, interviews, and other activities to identify pain points within existing experiences and opportunities for new features/capabilities
  • Own the agile development of features, including requirement/story development, prototype development, backlog prioritization, and grooming, testing, and acceptance, Q/A and reporting 
  • Working closely with engineering, UX, analytics and other cross-functional partners to document use cases, feature stories, and wireframes 
  • Consistently deliver on-time and on-budget projects and guidance to our customers that provide impactful solutions and results
  • Coordinate and lead client alignment to drive initiative strategy, planning, stakeholder approvals, and execution 
  • Establish and maintain clear execution routines, including agile ceremonies and stakeholder updates
  • Outstanding executive presence, communication skills and ability to align divergent interests to common goals
 
Preferred Skills: 
  • 7+ years proven leadership in a product management role working in digital, marketing and e-commerce 
  • Excellent understanding of consumer and business needs and how technology enables a faster and more convenient customer experience
  • Demonstrate ability to uncover additional customer needs and proven ability to bring new products/services to market
  • Deep experience in agile methodologies and leading product teams
  • Excellent communication [verbal, written, presentation] and networking skills; able to drive consensus
  • Experience with product management platforms and tools (Atlassian suite, Aha, Roadmunk. Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer-driven environment
