Product Owner


As a product leader, you'll drive company growth by inventing, building and managing a digital product that users will love and recommend. You'll get close to the humans that will use the product, listen closely for the practical and daily needs that can be met by the right offering. Then, bring the right resources together to deliver a winning digital experience. Our product leaders work like the CEO of the product, ensuring there are top-line growth and business profitability. 

Job Requirements
  • Set the vision and the product strategy for the product and the organization and ensures a one-team mentality in the organization
  • Be the CEO of the product, including a strong understanding of balancing  customer experience, business needs, and technology to build great digital products
  • Lead and organize the team and resources required to bring our new digital products to market
  • Lead the work to drive product adoption and growth through customer discovery and research, including managing the product roadmap, user research and testing, and customer feedback. Must have a deep passion and understanding of our customers, their needs and pain points
  • Own prioritization and the product backlog based on user growth, technical roadmap, competitive issues, and strategic planning. Leverage data and analytics to drive prioritization and decision making
  • Support the CEO and the growth team efforts to  grow the user base through marketing and go-to-market strategies
  • Manage the product life cycle from prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas to sunsetting legacy products
  • As a product leader, set the stage for the technology and platform. Guide the development team through the design, development and release process. Must have strong experience leading agile software development teams.
  • Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement
  • Lead the work to maintain a strong competitive differentiation, including competitive review and research; Keep a finger on the pulse of our competition, and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product


Qualifications
  • 6+ years of digital product management, digital marketing, or technology development experience
  • Strong technology experience; Savvy and passionate about building digital products users will love
  • Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information. Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
  • Experience with best practices for fast, efficient development and lean startup principles.
  • Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users
  • Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong plus
