Alice is growing a diverse team, and we’re looking for a Director of Sales to help us fulfill our mission of connecting all entrepreneurs to the resources they need to grow and scale their businesses. We’re leading a movement to connect every founder, regardless of geography, capitalization, prior experience, or cultural constraints, to the experts, tools, knowledge, and communities that will propel their companies forward. Alice is a Series A-backed company with teams in Houston, TX and San Francisco, CA. We are helping hundreds of thousands of owners a week in all fifty states. Led by co-founders Elizabeth Gore and Carolyn Rodz, we are hiring self-starters who can build the plane while flying it. 

The Director of Sales will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals with global enterprise companies. We have a specific focus on SaaS utilizing packaged data for enterprise lead gen and marketing. The ideal candidate will join a company in the middle of explosive growth, and will help us build a high performance sales team that aligns with our mission and inclusive company culture - while executing a personal revenue goal. A key bonus will be bringing your own rolodex and network to leverage for Alice. 

This position requires someone who can articulate Alice’s value proposition to key decision makers and drive deals to close in a B to B environment.  You have a growth mindset, can context shift quickly and never shy away from a challenge - Alice has aggressive revenue targets and you’re excited to jump right in. 

Required Skills / Experiences: 
  • Ability to quickly develop and execute against scalable SaaS sales strategies and targets, while collaborating closely with product, account managers and marketing on field learnings and roadmaps
  • Ability to understand complex business environments, uncover customer issues and translate need into business opportunities
  • Ability to work with product PM to package and develop SaaS offerings, pricing strategies and marketing approach
  • Ability to hire and manage a large team while executing personal sales goals 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving revenue
  • Professional, impeccable communication skills, organized and a high level of customer empathy
  • Experience leveraging C-level relationships with executives
  • Track record of exceeding goals, consistent achievement of revenue objectives
  • Ability to collaborate across teams on account management, execution plans and deliverables, provide coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Ability to leverage software tools to manage clean lead and customer data, pipeline, and success metrics
  • 10+ years experience in B2B sales / strategic account management / SaaS packaging 
  • Undergraduate degree

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
