Alice is growing a diverse team, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Partnerships to help us fulfill our mission of connecting all entrepreneurs to the resources they need to grow and scale their businesses. We’re leading a movement to connect every founder, regardless of geography, capitalization, prior experience, or cultural constraints, to the experts, tools, knowledge, and communities that will propel their companies forward. Alice is a Series A-backed company with teams in Houston, TX and San Francisco, CA. We are helping hundreds of thousands of owners a week in all fifty states. Led by co-founders Elizabeth Gore and Carolyn Rodz, we are hiring self-starters who can build the plane while flying it.
The Senior Product Manager, Partnerships is primarily responsible for actively driving and leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycle with enterprise, government, and organizational customers. The PM works in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor, advocating for and positioning Alice SaaS products to both business and technical customers. You will identify all technical issues and opportunities across accounts, and bridge the customer with Alice’s sales, product and marketing teams, aligning the product’s capability and roadmap with each sale and deployment cycle. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager, Partnerships, is responsible for bringing external product integrations, as identified by the product team, to the partnerships team, and driving those external conversations, and ultimately, product integrations.
Required Skills/Experiences:
- Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment with a rapidly growing customer base
- 6+ years of experience in a client-facing technical or sales organization.
- Experience building and mentoring cross-functional teams in sales and product.
- Executive presence with a strong ability to collaborate, dynamic presentation skills and ability to communicate clearly in emails, proposals, reports, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate Alice products and services to customers on site, remotely via webinar sessions, and at field events.
- Can provide pre-sales technical & strategy support to the Alice sales team, partners, and customers.
- Ability to create end-to-end use case specific demonstrations mapped to prospect’s strategic objectives across industries.
- Strong cross-functional team collaboration (sales, account management, product, marketing) to craft account strategies and create brand awareness.
- Can be the front line liaison to product management roadmap based on prospect needs, integrating Voice of Customer and Voice of Product in customer solutions, customer deployments, and product roadmapping.
- Strong experience responding to functional and technical elements of proposals, RFIs/RFPs.
- Self-motivated with a consistent track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
- Is organized and analytical, and able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
- Familiarity with SaaS technology, SMB and Enterprise customers, with strong executive presence
- Understanding of subscription and recurring revenue business models
- Familiarity with product management software, such as Pivotal Tracker, Jira or Notion
- Knowledge of sales funnel and pipeline management
- Up to 30% team, client and partner travel
Desired Skills/Experience
- Familiarity with Ruby, React, Javascript and the ecosystem around it
- Experience with agile, TDD, CI/CD
