Assistant Marketing Manager, Direct Mail

We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager of Direct Mail to join the CRM and Retention Marketing team in San Francisco, CA. You will be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of our direct mail programs while implementing a test-and-learn approach with a results-driven mindset. Additionally, this role will support the various businesses, programs and formats within the organization and will be focused on driving growth across the customer lifecycle while optimizing personalized and highly targeted direct mail campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee the strategy and execution of direct mail campaigns from conceptualization and creative development to delivery
  • Partnering with various business to develop strategic, scalable and personalized direct mail programs as well as comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns
  • Help define targeting and segmentation and testing initiatives for each campaign to maximize program ROI
  • Work with Marketing Operations to digitize the channel and integrate these offline programs for enhanced personalization  
  • Work with 3rd party vendors for top-of-the funnel prospecting and new user acquisition testing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a marketing or business focused field
  • 2-4 years of experience in a digital marketing or channel function, preferably in a B2C organization
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Highly organized individual with strong project management skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a “go-getter” attitude
  • Experience working in a retail or eCommerce program a plus
  • Versed in budget and vendor management
