Inside Sales/Account Management Representative

About the Role

The Inside Sales/Account Management Representative will pioneer a new entry-level role at Handy by being the connection between our Pros and our Operations team. The goal is to drive engagement and retention amongst Pros recruited in your region in an effort to meet the customer demand in your region. This is the opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help us develop a new process and team.


  • Call and speak with prospective and newly Activated Handy Pros in a particular region, sharing the benefits of working on the Handy platform
  • Own your “book of business” in your region by engaging high value Pros to complete jobs in and around their area
  • Maintain high Pro engagement and retention for the Pros you bring onto the Handy platform and scale your Pro team as the business grows
  • Learn sales techniques and help develop new and creative sales strategies


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of prior phone sales experience or account management
  • Comfort with cold calling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment a plus
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management; must be able to multitask
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • MS Office skills, including: Outlook, Word, and Excel; a strong familiarity with email and internet
  • Experience and comfort hitting sales targets and goals
