About the role 

Handy is looking for a business development professional to lead our retail partnerships team. You will lead the team through creating and executing the strategy for installation and assembly partnerships with online and offline retailers. This role will be located in NYC, but you should expect to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities include:
  • Owning the P&L for partners
  • Achieve revenue growth and margin targets
  • Align on high-level growth and product roadmaps with partners
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand into new business lines with current partners
  • Establishing and owning ongoing relationships with the senior leadership at partners
  • Recruiting and managing a team of 10+
  • Creating the internal processes to maintain service excellence

Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in business development or account management, working with large partners
  • 2+ years experience in the Retail industry
  • People management experience
  • Strong communication skills - you will be in front of partners and executives all the time
  • Strong strategy and analytical skills - there is a real strategic component to how we approach and expand our relationships and business opportunities with partners
  • MBA preferred
