Retro Commissioning Engineer

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop drawings for Automation Control Systems.
    • Lead and mentor designers, BIM/CAD Technicians, EI’s, Retro-Commissioning Programmers, and engineers to oversee professional development and quality control.
    • Construct and organize contract documents for retro-commissioning projects and designs. Oversee reports, engineering studies, and analyses for the following:
    o Duct and piping layout
    o Load calculations
    o Conduct code review
    o Life cycle cost analysis
    o Equipment selection under the supervision of a licensed PE
    o Ventilation calculations
    • Ability to form schematic diagrams and one-line diagrams for multiple energy systems.
    • Implement great performing building technology design techniques for design projects and Long Range Plans for capital investment projects and facility enhancement.
    • Collect data to recognize any issues and room for improvement by utilizing M&V plans (use M&V plans to ensure industry standards are met).
    • Occasionally visit job site and conduct surveys for facility conditions.
    • Review project submittals and prepare proposal requests, supplemental instructions, and RFI’s.

    Requirements
    • At least 0-3 years of related experience.
    • Professional Engineer license or related work experience. EIT’s will also be considered.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical from an accredited university. 
    • LEED, CEM, CHFM, and HFDP accredited professional certification (desired).
    • Knowledge of energy codes and ASHRAE requirements (desired).
