Responsibilities:
• Manage one or multiple projects and implement plans, oversee project estimates, and monitors materials being ordered and utilized.
• May customize standard software from controls team or pre-existing standards library when needed.
• Ability to resolve issues that may arise with each project.
• Coordinate with the project engineers and track the work being done.
• Provide costs, billing, and orders to managers and customers (constantly keep customers up to date with cost of materials, schedules, and finances).
• Lead and attend meetings to track project progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with all customers, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate the engineering job process to include organization with controls engineering team performances.
• Assess project schedules and estimate project’s materials, codes, specifications, and workers’ installation techniques.
• Ensure projects are done in a timely manner, cost-effective, and safely!
Requirements:
• 5 years or more work experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10 years or more of work experience. Or Associates degree with equivalent work and engineering experience.
• Familiarity with trade labor practices within the construction industry.
• Basic knowledge of ALC programming and operational experience or the ability to garner these skills during self-directed training.
