Responsibilities:
• Attend on-site visits to analyze the facility conditions, determine progress, make sure project lines up with design and owner specifications, and building codes with a staff manager or a project manager.
• Contributes (works with the design team) in the organization of plumbing, electrical, architectural, fire protection, civil, and more.
• Works under the licensed professional engineer to help with the production of the project (i.e.: system calculations, perform electrical evals, and assists with the final project proposal to the client).
• Participate in in-house training to grow and obtain necessary technical skills.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering (with an emphasis in Mechanical or Electrical) or Mechanical Engineering (required).
• EI Certification – The Fundamentals of Engineering Examinations.
• Past experience – intern, co-op, or mechanical design.
• Experience working on building energy services in the higher-education and health field and experience with Controls, Commissioning, and Energy Systems (preferred).
• Able to work in the US without a sponsorship.
