Customer Sales Associate

As a Customer Sales Associate, you will be contributing in generating sales for our company by helping traveller's book their ideal vacation homes. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships. An effective associate must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.
The sales team is currently our fastest growing team. As the number of leads (booking requests) we receive doubles every month, the challenge of converting them into transactions becomes increasingly significant. Customer Sales associates play the crucial role of generating revenue for the company by managing all customer bookings and resolving customer concerns. We seek those who thrive on closing transactions by finding creative solutions to complex situations, and treat every user interaction as an opportunity to create a loyal promoter. We are seeking young, enthusiastic professionals with a mind for out-of-the-box solutions to help grow a hyper-scaling start-up.

Key responsibilities

 Assist travellers in booking vacation homes and closing deals over phone and email.
 Drive booking and revenue numbers higher by creating innovative travel solutions that address client needs
 Handle escalations in a calm manner
 Go the extra mile to meet or exceed sales targets and facilitate future sales
 Answer questions about the service or the company
 Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
 Provide timely resolutions to customer queries over the phone, email, and chat platforms

Skills & qualifications

 A bachelor's degree
 Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
 Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
 Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Skills such as persuasion, escalation handling, and providing solutions to close sales
 Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
 Motivation for sales, and identification of customer needs and challenges
 Focused on performance with solution-oriented approach
 Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
