While interacting with Guests
· Welcome guest at Porte cohere
· Serve welcome drinks and escort guests to their assigned room
· Acquaint guests with accommodation features: lay-out, room type, location, decor, in room facilities and equipment.
· Conduct in room check-in process and also liaising with housekeeping staff for luggage delivery.
· Knowledgeable of the villa and local area
· Update departments or caretaker about the guest allergies and food preferences, and update the company software with guest preference (likes, dislikes, allergies).
· Follow through guest needs until they are completed, and to guest satisfaction. Take care of guest requests and liaise with respective departments: laundry, wake up call, and any special requests etc.
· Record transactions and order items in Point of sales (POS) system.
· Ascertain if meals/ beverages served are to guests satisfaction
· Communicate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned at a convenient time for guests
· Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area
· Make bookings for dining, transport or activities as per guest request. Should be well-informed of the local area to be able to recommend and arrange experiences.
· Checkout guests efficiently, offering luggage assistance and transportation
· Communicate with guests in case of any belongings left behind
Backend Processes
· Take care of all guest rooms and coordinate with allied departments to fulfil guest needs and requests.
· Record transactions and order items in Point of sales (POS) system
· Update guest feedback and comments
· Monitor stock inventory and follow up on pending concerns with maintenance department
· Knowledgeable of operating procedures for all electronic equipment in the guest room
· Support the other departments such as Maintenance and Reservation department
· Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
· Take notes of all the information, updates and instructions and maintain handover before signing off from the shift
· Check and maintain stock for all items in the villa
· Understand and adhere to the Rules & Regulations of the Company and policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
· Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities as assigned out of the list
