Technical Recruiter

About the role  
As we continue growing our supply of 135,000 homes and scale our 150 member team to 400+ members, we are looking for a Techonal Recruiter to join our HR department and help us grow our high quality IT team. The recruiter will work with the CTO and senior management to understand the challenges faced by the department and fill recruitment or employee engagement needs accordingly. Senior Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for growing GuestHouser’s reach across the country.


Key Responsibilities: • Talk to senior management to understand the top level strategic goals of the company and the role recruitment plays in reaching them

• Work closely with the CTO to understand the roles that need to be recruited for and strategise how to find the best fitting talent
• Coordinate with the engeneering team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
• Source candidates from your personal networks, recruiting channels, and social media
• Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resume
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities
• Pitch GuestHouser well to ensure relevant candidates are interested in applying
• Set up and conduct interviews, and have the decision-making ability to determine whether a
candidate is qualified and fits the company’s culture
• Make offers and have closing conversations in a fashion that ensures selected candidates join
• Receive feedback from IT team leaders on candidates that are desirable and those that are not for improved sourcing and screening
• Understand the importance of different open positions in the growth of the company and aim to reach recruitment targets
• Compose job offer letters
• Onboard new hires Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
• Maintain and update data in the firm’s internal database
• Maintain calendars and coordinate interviews
• Handle calls and respond to inquiries
• Communicate relevant information to candidates
• Handle employee paperwork as needed

 
Skills & Qualifications • Proven work experience of 1-5 years as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter

• Highly motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing
priorities
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
• Target and result orientation towards recruitment goals
• Excellent written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree in any stream
• Ability to be unbiased and objective during conflicts
• Professional approach to work and work relationships
• A keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A solution-oriented approach with the ability to identify problems and devise strategic plans for improvement
• The ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results
• Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
• Able to interface at all levels of the organization
• Passion for innovative HR solutions
