Senior Data Analyst

Your Role  

  • As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will work in a team environment to manage all data aspects for assigned customer accounts
  • Your performance will be customer account based 
  • You will work in a fast-paced, professional, fun, and evolving environment

  • You are a problem solver with a natural curiosity towards the field of data analysis 
  • You will collaborate with others internally to identify areas for operational improvement 

 

Your Responsibilities 

  • You will collect, organize, and manage various types of agronomic and geospatial data in several platforms, databases, web applications, and proprietary software to ensure high data integrity 
  • You will completely understand the entire data life cycle for your customer accounts 
  • You will use internal tools and best practices for data management and data workflows 
  • You will promptly create customer deliverables for your assigned customer accounts
  • You will be capable of identifying and troubleshooting issues with data, tools, or deliverables
  • You will demonstrate total ownership of your customer accounts
  • You will communicate clearly while keeping your audience in mind 
  • You will guide internal Data Analysts 
  • You will interface with other internal teams to solve problems in an agile way
  • You will complete other tasks as assigned 
 
 

Your Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, ag economics, geomatics, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant job experience 
  • Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with ESRI software and/or QGIS   
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and maintain organization

  • You have advanced knowledge of ESRI software and/or QGIS
  • You have advanced knowledge of geospatial data types and workflows
  • You are highly organized and skilled at data management 
  • You are adept at independently managing your time while producing timely deliverables 
 
 
What Will Set You Apart: 
  • Experience with Python, ModelBuilder, or other common GIS scripting languages 
  • Experience with large scale agronomic data sets
