Summary of position:
Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking to hire a Front-Office VBA + Access + SQL Developer/Support to work on decision making tools for the Securitization business department.
The team provides 1st and 2nd level Application Support for the Securitization business department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide level 1 and level 2 Application Support for the Securitization department.
- Develop good relations with the business (Front-Office, Middle-Office, Risk, Back-Office), and follow relationship with third parties, manage / assist members.
- Reviewing gathered requirement.
- Analyzing and designing applications efficiently to ensure that customers' needs are met respecting due dates.
- Modifying or creating new user interfaces in MS Access / Excel, creating and modifying stored procedures.
- Troubleshooting VBA code and SQL stored procedures.
- Testing and validating changes for new releases
- Maintain and improve service quality.
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Computer Science or Finance.
- At least 3-5 years in a role supporting business applications using VBA+SQL+Access development and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge and professional experience using T-SQL.
- Strong analytical skills for problem solving
- Good knowledge of Money Market products like CDs, CPs and of FX Products.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast paced dynamic software development/support environments.
- Experience in an investment bank or in similar financial institution preferred.
Nice to have qualifications and experience:
- Experience with Securitization business processes is a plus.
