    About You:
    We are looking to hire an energetic, talented, and tenaciously customer-centric Catering Lead to join our growing team and jump-start their career. You’ll wear many hats and be exposed to various facets of the coffee catering business as you coordinate food and beverage fulfillment in advance of catering service, working service shifts as needed, coordinating food and beverage preparation onsite and serving food and beverage during events as needed.  If you love a great a cup of coffee (or tea), embody a positive attitude, and are enthusiastic about delivering value via consistent and high-quality hospitality, then please apply today!

    What You’ll Do:
    Varied P/T Schedule: approximately 20-25 hours per week;  weekend and weekday mornings, some evenings as needed. 

    • Gather, maintain / clean, deliver and retrieve equipment to meet customer requirements 
    • Determine requirements in ingredients and set portions
    • Work a flexible schedule in an effort to accommodate service based on customer needs
    • Manage execution of preparatory responsibilities
    • Execute high level customer service in communication with customers
    • Report on expenses as needed
    • Manage stock and place orders or request inventory transfers as needed
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
    • Provide event leadership by directing and setting responsibilities 
    • Direct and assign responsibilities and tasks to servers, bartenders, chefs and vendor partners
    • Present and serve food and beverages in an attractive, safe and efficient manner
    • Continuously assess product presentation and quality, addressing problems as necessary to ensure high standards are maintained for every client
    • Offer exceptional customer service to clients ensuring all contracted agreements and client needs are addressed
    • Take accurate inventory of client's order (food and rental items)
    • Set-up and break-down for events
     
    What It Takes To Rock This Role:
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving history
    • Work experience as a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar role
    • Understanding of food hygiene
    • Hands-on experience with creating menus from scratch
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Customer service forward attitude
    • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances
    • Flexibility to work during early mornings, evenings, and weekends
    • Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus
