Business Analyst

Here’s the scoop:
The Business Analyst will work closely with our Product and Development teams to produce quality software that meets our customer needs. This role will manage the requirements process and will serve as the liaison between the internal teams. 

What you’ll do:
  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising the business on options, risks, and costs. 
  • Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible.
  • Act as liaison between business and technology teams in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements.
  • Maintain communication channels with customers during collaborative development efforts.
  • Review features from internal and external sources then escalate those features internally, for future development.
  • Work across product teams to develop features and solutions to increase efficiency and productivity for our customers. 
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
  • Provide support to internal teams as necessary.
  • Review Production Documentation for accuracy.
  • Review test cases for accuracy.
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate test and deployment activities.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the business needs. 


What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science or related area. Proven work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of BA experience. 
  • Strong time management, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as working independently.
  • Detailed and process-oriented. The position requires an excellent grasp of often-changing details.
  • Ability to assess the situation and make proper decisions based on assessment. 
  • Excellent work ethic; willing to take on multiple tasks.
  • Must have computer navigation skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Professional written and verbal skills.
