Customer Success Specialist

Here’s the scoop:
The Customer Success Specialist will be responsible for interviewing customers to set up their account with saved searches. It requires an understanding of the customer's needs, goals, and objectives and creating a search based on data analysis. The role requires analyzing the data results and applying best practices to create the perfect search, which is also as much art as analytical. 

What you’ll do:
  • Responsible for creating searches for customers and all related activities to include:
    • Lead customer calls to learn about the customer's data interest.  
    • Conduct remote screen sharing sessions with customers.
    • Create a search to the Customer’s specifications. 
    • Meet with the customer to review the search results and revise search criteria as needed.  
  • Responsible for developing a business strategy plan for all vendor Customers using the available GovSpend data. 
  • Have a full understanding of the customer engagement goals and objectives including retention; and proactively create, save and share queries that support the goals. 
  • Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs and analysis.
  • Create and maintain documentation. 
  • Work with other departments as needed. 
  • Other job duties as assigned to meet the business needs.
 
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area. Proven work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of experience working in a professional office setting. 
  • 2 years of experience in a data mining role preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as working independently.
  • Ability to assess the situation and make proper decisions based on assessment. 
  • Ability to define new models and processes from the ground-up and operate at scale.
  • Excellent work ethic; willing to take on multiple tasks.
  • Must have computer navigation skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Professional written and verbal skills.
  • Detailed and process-oriented. The position requires an excellent grasp of often-changing details.
