About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and creative marketing director with expertise in B2B SaaS. You will be responsible for all of Swiftly's marketing and communications efforts to help build our brand and enable our growth. You can operate independently, exercising excellent judgment to achieve the desired results. You will report to the CEO and will lead a team of three with the opportunity to grow the team.

What you’ll do:
  • Overall: Execute Swiftly’s go-to-market plan; including development and implementation of the brand, product positioning, market growth strategy, marketing programs, thought leadership, content communication strategy, and budget management. Navigate a rapidly changing landscape without a set playbook, seeing and acting several moves ahead.
  • Team: Build, lead and inspire a small but mighty team of world-class marketers. Act as coach and problem solver, leading the team culture and providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities for the team members.
  • Revenue Leadership: Drive revenue and go-to-market leadership for new business and upsell/expansion pipelines and ensure pipeline effectiveness and efficiency. Instrument and measure the impact of your work. Manage the overall marketing budget, and forecast the impact of these activities on our sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle times.
  • Storytelling and thought leadership: Help define and promote the Swiftly story, vision, and value to our customers and prospects. Cultivate new relationships and build on existing ones with journalists, thought leaders, and influencers. Craft inspiring customer narratives and stories that help demonstrate the value enabled by the Swiftly platform.
  • Product Marketing: Own and drive our positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and new product launches from product conception through launch. Develop all content, collateral, proof points throughout all parts of the customer buying cycle. Work closely with product and customer success teams to stay updated on new product and feature needs at different stages of the buyer's journey.

About You
  • You have scaled ARR beyond $20M.
  • You are a talented storyteller, communicator and have strong writing skills.
  • You have an eye for design.
  • You pay attention to detail and prioritize organization.
  • You are a creative problem solver.
  • You are interested in working with communities of all sizes across the world.
  • You are experienced in building, managing and leading a first-class marketing function that sets the standard for the industry. You hire well and set extremely high standards for yourself and your team. You are a strong people leader and can provide growth opportunities for those on your team.
  • You have excellent people skills. You are open to new ideas and diverse opinions. Yet have organized and structured thinking process. 
  • You develop creative approaches for reaching customers and prospects. You are adept at blending digital and offline acquisition approaches with account-based marketing strategies across different market segments. You are execution-focused and comfortable in managing the details.
