People Engagement Specialist

Position Overview
goPuff is looking for a People Engagement Specialist to support our People and Culture Team in our San Francisco office. This individual will embody the goPuff Core Values and act as the key liaison between the Philadelphia and San Francisco HQ offices in order to strengthen communication and engagement between the two offices.  This role will be the point of contact for orientation, onboarding and HR-related queries.  The successful candidate is customer obsessed, a change agent who thrives in a fast paced environment, has experience with HR procedures, event planning and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ultimately, the People Engagement Specialist should provide support to employees while complying with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee People & Culture engagement efforts in the SF office, including wellness initiatives, lunch and learns, and more
  • Help schedule interviews for SF hiring managers (onsite and phone screen)
  • Point person in the SF office for all hands meetings and other company-wide communications
  • Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding for new SF employees and interns
  • Answer employees’ HR-related queries and liaison with HQ Benefits team as appropriate
  • Assist Payroll Department by providing relevant employee information (e.g., I-9 documentation, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Serve as the Office Manager for the SF office, including budget management and travel coordination (ordering supplies and equipment, oversee cleaning, etc.,)

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, Engagement Coordinator or relevant role
  • Passion for creating a great customer experience and paying attention to the details
  • Computer literacy including maintaining spreadsheets and monthly budgets
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Customer Service attitude toward internal employees 
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • BS in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications or relevant field preferred
