About the Role
GoodRx is looking for a dynamic, creative individual to sit at the intersection of marketing, brand and performance as Senior Creative Director. Ideal candidates will possess experience growing and leading marketing design teams, have deep experience in direct response marketing for both online and offline tactics as well as have direct experience leading TV creative development. This hands-on leader will set the tone for marketing design at GoodRx and will unify creative efforts into a single vision and voice.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead creative team members while growing the department to address areas of business need
- Build creative into a critical competitive advantage for GoodRx
- Lead the creative development for all of GoodRx’s marketing assets across copy, imagery, communications and digital design
- Align all marketing creative to a single brand standard, ensuring GoodRx brand imagery and tenants shine through in a consistent way
- Grow the design team to add new internal skill sets and capabilities in support of marketing efforts
- Increase the overall output volume capabilities of the design team to better support marketing testing, particularly in creative-driven AI-based digital tactics that rely heavily on creative testing and throughput
- Lead GoodRx’s television creative development process, working closely with production partners, to achieve performance marketing creative that also delivers key brand positioning
- Interface closely with internal analytics teams to understand creative performance against business metrics
- Foster a culture of data-driven iteration
- Serve as liaison between internal clients and the production team, spearheading conversations about budget, timelines, and direction, ensuring clear lines of communication and fostering a collaborative environment
- Develop an internal video production function to bridge the gap between high-budget television production and current static creative capabilities
- Work cross-functionally to assist other department leaders with collateral needs
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in marketing design roles with 5+ years of experience leading teams
- Ability to develop creative guidelines, design principles and best practices and aligning team output to achieve uniform a uniform standard
- Ability to audit projects and ensure all creative output is at a high standard and is aligned with goals
- 3+ years experience in television creative development
- Experience identifying business needs and building design teams that can grow to achieve them
- Background in design for direct response marketing at a performance driven business
- Ability to interact with internal clients at an executive level
- Capable of effectively managing the day to day operational functions of multiple internal clients, across multiple business verticals
- Ability to work under deadlines while successfully executing multiple campaigns
- Ability to represent Production as a skilled, senior level subject matter expert; experience in presenting an informed point-of-view and technical expertise to a project team
- Effectively manage production budgets for multiple campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
