Reports to the Media Director

Godfrey Dadich is a design firm. We design strategies, experiences, and outcomes. And we’re looking for a senior media planner to join our growing team.

As a senior media planner for Godfrey Dadich, you are responsible for the day-to-day planning, execution, and management of media programs. You will be leading the planning team and communicating with our partners and internal stakeholders. As a full-service agency, we build what we buy and we optimize what we track. You also need to be fluent in analytics speak, and able to implement optimizations on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the creation, planning, and execution of large custom programs, helping to shape campaign strategy across a variety of channels
  • Creating and representing media recommendations, including new ideas, to both internal teams and clients alike
  • Collaborating with the internal strategy team and external clients to define KPIs for tracking campaign effectiveness and overall success
  • Overseeing plan optimizations
  • Managing day-to-day contact with clients; building close client connections (a more traditional account function)
  • Providing broad and specific media answers, direction, POVs, and project updates as requested
  • Keeping up to date with the latest media trends, providing POVs when applicable
  • Working closely with and helping inspire creative teams to develop engaging content for our audiences, as well as exposing internal teams to new creative executions and opportunities
  • Leading relationships with media partners and developing new opportunities
  • Overseeing media project billing to ensure accurate weekly billing audits and budget recaps
  • Overseeing the ad trafficking process and be able to jump in where needed

Qualifications:
  • Has a college degree
  • Has a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience working at a full-service advertising agency
  • Is very familiar with, and an active user of, social media

  • Has been told that they have outstanding organizational skills
  • Has unusually strong communication skills
  • Can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously for long periods of time, and likes it

  • Has strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • Is able to support arguments with a strong rationale
  • Is inclined to step up when others do not
  • Has powerful relationship-building skills
