Assistant Account Manager

Godfrey Dadich Partners (GDP) combines the best of advertising, identity, and digital to help brands tell better stories. We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager who will provide day-to-day executional support to the internal account team with particular emphasis on project management. Ensures agency success by keeping internal teams updated and on track with projects and by creating and maintaining key project documents and assets. 

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Support Account Managers with preparation of client presentations
  • Is responsible for ensuring alignment between project management, account team, and client expectations
  • Is accountable for quality control on all assignments
  • Runs weekly internal status meetings
  • Reviews all reports, documents, samples, etc., prior to sending to clients
  • Works with production, media and creative to develop budgets, work plans and schedules
  • Supports Account Managers by compiling meeting agenda, facilitating meeting setup, recording meeting minutes, distributing meeting re-caps, and additional communication items
  • Reviews creative execution to ensure creative product remains on-strategy and adheres to client identity/corporate guidelines
  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates media output, creative output and reporting relative to clients’ needs and objectives
  • Maintains daily contact with clients/prospects keeping them informed of project status and managing expectations as the project evolves
  • Manages the legal, substantiation and clearance process for each campaign
  • Gathers competitive and industry data
  • Maintains weekly status reports, schedules and budget documents
  • Works with Finance to proof estimates and billing
  • Becomes familiar with clients’ business, products and competitive set; monitors category trends and reports major news and implications to the extended team and clients where appropriate

Qualifications include:
  • ± 1 years of experience working within a traditional, direct marketing, or interactive agency
  • Highly collaborative, resourceful and motivated, the ideal candidate is a self-starter who proactively moves projects forward
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to articulate, document, and present the status of a project and the key dependencies to get it to completion
  • Strong comfort level and flexibility for an organic and iterative design process
  • Abnormally well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with Slack, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Keynote
