IT Manager

Reports to Managing Director and Director of Production

The IT Manager will work closely with all departments to lead and manage networks and systems for the firm. These efforts will vary broadly—from maintenance of information resource integrity to network security, software licensing, and the health of hardware throughout the firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Computer/device provisioning and troubleshooting: macOS, iOS, tvOS, Windows 10, and macOS Server systems and related hardware in a creative production environment
  • Computer and mobile device management: Leverage JAMF Pro in auditing device inventory and security, updating deployments and policies
  • End-user account and service administration: G Suite, Slack, Adobe Creative Cloud, Office 365, Dropbox, Font Management Software
  • 2D Output: Manage and maintain a fleet of HP, Epson, and Canon printers and software
  • Phones: VoIP config and troubleshooting, experience with Polycom devices
  • Network setup and troubleshooting: Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN/Switching, VPN, ISP point of contact
  • AV and video conferencing troubleshooting: Extensive working knowledge of Google Hangouts, Zoom, and Skype. Experience with video conferencing hardware is desired
  • Web and development environments: Assist Senior Software Engineer with domain registration, DNS, website provisioning (Google Cloud, AWS)
  • End-user and desktop security: Working knowledge of FileVault, Startup Security Utility, Sophos, Crashplan Pro
  • Project management: communicating with stakeholders, determining and implementing solutions within given guidelines
  • Writing documentation: end-user and technical process documentation
  • Technical point of contact for all urgent technical issues. Occasional night or weekend work to run off-hours system updates or maintenance

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience within a creative organization desired
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience providing advanced user support
  • 3-5 years macOS support
  • 3-5 years network experience
  • 1-2 years 2D output experience
  • Genuine passion for IT
  • A tireless desire to problem solve with a strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
