The Retail business of GlobalLogic is looking for an AVP, Retail.  The ideal candidate would have strong expertise in areas of Retail and Commerce Sectors as well as a proven track record in opening new accounts in the retail industry.  
Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop key relationships within the Retail sector to grow sales revenue. 
  • Work directly with senior decision makers; Chief Technology Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Product Officer, VP of Engineering, Heads of Merchandising and Supply Chain and their teams. 
  • Develop unique points of view that differentiate GlobalLogic in the Retail and Commerce sectors.
  • Deep engagement with customers to understand their needs and build/ nurture long-term relationships. 
  • Conduct client presentations, proposals and negotiations. 
  • Own the sales funnel across the entire sales process – from sales lead to close. 
  Experience required: 

  • A minimum of 10+ years of proven experience selling Digital Engineering and digital transformation services into retail and consumer goods sectors 
  • Strong network of key decision makers in the target segments. 
  • Sales Hunter experience- proven track record in new business acquisition. 
  • Expert understanding of the technology needs of target segments. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Exceptional prospecting skills and excellent closing skills.
