About the Job.
The Director of Sales & Partnerships, Location Platform is a dual role that will be focused on two areas — Enterprise Sales for the Gimbal Location Platform and Strategic Partnerships working with Gimbal partners to drive joint revenue opportunities.
Enterprise Sales will involve directly selling into key verticals (e.g. retail, travel, hospitality, Entertainment/Sports and financial services) closing new Location Platform clients. Strategic Partnerships will involve managing Gimbal’s strategic partner and reseller relationships with a focus on driving new revenue opportunities both indirect and direct (e.g. creating qualified leads for the sales team to pursue).
This role can be based in either our New York City or Chicago office.

What you will be doing:
- Leveraging your existing relationships with large enterprises to increase revenue through the presentation of Gimbal’s Location Platform
- Leading deals from start to finish for a target list of accounts and acting as a specialist to support deals led by regional salespeople
- Supporting the Direct Sales team to help them to engage and close new Location Platform clients
- Managing existing Partner relationships to make sure they are pitching and reselling the Location Platform, thereby driving new revenue for Gimbal
- Representing Gimbal’s value proposition within the advertising community
- Managing your pipeline of activity and providing regular status updates
- Being a role model and representative of Gimbal’s culture both internally and externally
What you have:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, successfully selling SaaS across multiple organization stakeholders
- Proven track record of consultative selling, delivering six-figure deals and delivering on a seven-figure annual quota
- Experience driving results by both selling into enterprises directly and nurturing indirect channels
- Experience building and growing client relationships
- Background in AdTech / MarTech preferred
- Prior work with location marketing / location services a plus
- Experience selling in retail, QSR, and hospitality verticals a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
