Giant Spoon: Account Manager, Experiential

Giant Spoon is looking for an Account Manager in Experiential to manage clients and their experiential projects. They’ll work closely with the production, design, and strategy teams to ensure deadlines are hit and best-in-class work is delivered to the client in a consistent and timely fashion. They must have a strong ability to manage the development of a project on a constant and ongoing basis. They are crucial to the fluidity and efficiency of projects and should be prepared to get their hands dirty in all stages of the process, acting as a utility player to provide support to the team. Candidate should have exceptional interpersonal communication and project leadership skills with an aptitude towards strategic thinking, problem solving and the ability to facilitate multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is always looking for ways to make operations more efficient, opportunities to improve the model or framework they are working with and a-know how to get the best of their team’s time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as main point of contact for clients, overseeing client communication and expectations starting from the pitch phase and throughout the production process 
  • Work with internal legal and finance teams to manage client SOW’s and client billing process
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions based on Giant Spoon’s full-service capabilities
  • Provide client with consistent updates on project status
  • Manage day to day workflow, timelines and milestones. Work with internal teams to help drive scheduled deliverables, relay revision requests, record progress and help tackle obstacles as they arise
  • Recap internal meetings, feedback, decisions and deliverables in writing for dissemination to the team
  • Proactively host and schedule regular internal and external meetings as necessary
  • Participate in RFP brainstorms, offering creative ideas and approaches towards client requests and needs
  • Seek out new opportunities with existing or new clients
  • Client advocate: understands clients business, clients goals, deliverables and strategies
  • Agency advocate: understands full agency process and how best to match it with client requests
  • Production advocate: understands production needs of both agency and client and strives to maintain production equilibrium

DESIRED SKILLS 
  • 3+ years of experience in account leadership, campaign/event management, marketing, advertising, digital PR, and experiential
  • Proven track record of client leadership and account growth
  • Experience in an agency environment; must be process-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience with management and oversight of complex client budgets
  • Ability to write effectively, persuasively and professionally
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence in verbal and written communication with excellent presentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work extended hours and on weekends when necessary
  • Strong organization, interpersonal and project management skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Open to travel as necessary
