About the role: We are looking to build a Creative Team to bring Yours’ brand to life, through videos and creative visuals. The Creative Team is looking for a nimble, hyper-organised video editor who is obsessed with video making and storytelling. This person is an out-of-the-box thinker, understands brand story and uses that knowledge to create smart, engaging, and effective marketing videos for all the communication channels- social media, website, emails and beyond. As the first video editor on board, you will be joining the team at an early stage and will work cross-functionally with our designers, marketers, and product team members to help shape our brand’s unique tone of voice.
Responsibilities
- Editing videos for marketing and social assets to bring the brand story to life and maintain the brand tonality and look.
- Post-production of videos including video/audio editing, color grading, and motion design
- Ideate, develop and execute short and long form video content for campaigns and story-telling with the marketing team;
- Assist with video production to ensure the right content is captured during production
- Work collaboratively with video producer, brand team and other key stakeholders to create video content
- Edit the videos for various distribution channels based on the specific requirements wrt size, aspect ratio, etc.
- Coordinate with internal and external creators i.e. writers and designers to create high-quality quality and engaging video content.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in digital video editing, preferably in consumer space
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects and experience with the full Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of web video standards and codecs
- Basic knowledge in storytelling and understanding of the post production process
- Bachelor’s Degree in Filmmaking, Digital Video Production or similar degree/real-world experience
- Work well under deadline-oriented atmosphere
- Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and excited to expand his/her skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects - Highly organised and able to work both independently and collaborate with a team
