Position Description

As Project Manager (PM), you will be responsible for leading and managing the end to end customer lifecycle for Upper Hand's key accounts.  You will work closely with multiple key stakeholders through the Upper Hand organization, including but not limited to: Director of Technology, Head of Product, Head of Accounts, Director of Sales, Account Managers and Implementation Specialists.  Additionally, as PM, you will communicate and work directly with corporate officials from leading sports & fitness brands around the Globe.

To be successful in this position, you will need to be extremely well organized, top notch in communicating with multiple key stakeholders, as well as an excellent leader and critical thinker. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and responsible for key accounts renewals.  Execute on aggressive retention goals for your team and take full ownership over leading the team to meet those goals.
  • Develop and execute mass-scale roll-out strategies for Upper Hand's key accounts.
  • Communicate with both internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Consistently optimize and refine the key accounts customer lifecycle.
  • Set and exceed key customer timetables to ensure healthy roll-outs and ongoing customer relations.
  • Develop and execute a plan for scaling the team structure and goals, as well as the interviewing standards and hiring plans needed to achieve these goals.
  • Build, maintain, and grow C-level relationships with multiple executives from clients in your team’s portfolio.
  • Manage and own the hardware inventory process for all key accounts.

Required Skills, Experience and Abilities:
  • 2+ years of proven success in a Project Manager or Account Management role.  Preference to candidates that have managed large-scale accounts.
  • Exceptional communication skills are critical to success in this role.
  • Must be self-driven and extremely organized.
  • An ideal candidate is process-oriented, but can also think creatively.
  • Candidate must be a creative, entrepreneurial project manager with exceptional leadership and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight timetables is key.
  • Ability to travel nationally for 2-4 consecutive nights when necessary. 
  • Must have exceptional discipline, attention to detail, and motivation. 
  • Must be fully capable of leading high pressure efforts and responding to consistent challenges and going above and beyond as needed.
  • Must be a world-class individual contributor to excel at Upper Hand.

The position is located at the Upper Hand HQ in downtown Indianapolis. Compensation for relocation will be provided as required.
