Vendor Operations Lead

What you will do

You will play a pivotal role in taking ResQ to new heights by taking full control and extreme ownership of the entire vendor operations side of our business along with contributing to other areas. As a Vendor Operations Lead, you will be contributing in the following areas:
  • Category Build out, Vendor Performance and Expansion You will lead all efforts to proactively source and scale vendors. You will be responsible for establishing vendor pricing, quality and performance across service categories. You will structure and analyze key data to assess vendor performance, help them grow and provide meaningful feedback to vendors. You will always be ahead of the curve to understand the levers that drive vendor behaviour and will hold vendors highly accountable for their performance.
  • Marketplace Effectiveness and Liquidity You will work closely with the client management groups to ensure we have the optimal level and quality of supply to cater to our demand. You will be integrated well with the operations team and work very closely with them to ensure an effective marketplace liquidity is always in play.
  • Product Positioning You will work closely with the product management group to collaborate on product features and feedback, and ensure successful product roll-outs.
  • Playbook and Leadership You will work directly as part of the executive team to build the supply playbook and be a part of launching new markets.

About you

  • You have 5+ years experience in consulting, operations, or customer success
  • You have a strong ability and desire to build lasting relationships

  • You have a high level of comfort communicating with senior restaurant executives, owners, restaurant staff and vendors - our customers and vendors are busy running their businesses and you should be comfortable dealing with them
  • You have a deep level of empathy towards people and are genuinely interested in understanding others' problems
  • You are a problem solver and like to spend time getting to root causes and come up with solutions
  • You have strong project coordination skills
  • You are an ambitious top performer with a "never give up" attitude
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, vendor operations or technology marketplaces considered an asset
