Operations Associate

Mulberry is disrupting a $40B insurance industry by providing omnichannel merchants a seamless plug-and-play platform from which to offer product insurance. Our platform not only drives revenue for brands, but also improves customer experience and trust in warranty programs.

Mulberry is hiring for an experienced Operations Associate to help grow our product offering, streamline our processes, and support our growing customer base. You'll be joining a close-knit, agile team and will be expected to hit the ground running (while maintaining a sense of humor along the way!) from day-one, with support from the department head and greater leadership team. 

What You'll Do:

Recruiting 
  • Work with Ops team & Leadership to iterate on strategies and processes to source and hire for a variety of roles across the organization
    • Build a strong network of potential candidates
    • Help to manage a robust candidate tracker/historical record to be used company-wide
    • Closely monitor our hiring roadmap, in order to be able to rapidly fill new openings 
    • Use built-out email, interview, and assessment template
      • Responsible for assigned parts of the recruitment journey
    • Help to refine best practices for candidate outreach & become an authority on best recruitment platforms, sites, and partnerships, along with fellow Ops Associate  Work with Ops team & Leadership to create highly-descriptive and compelling job descriptions that bring more candidates to our door 
    • Help to define a strategy for campus recruitment
      • Build an internship pipeline
    • Work with Ops team & Leadership to become an expert on sourcing and filtering for the variety of role types needed across the business
Office Management 
  • Admin
    • Along with fellow Ops Associate, help to manage relationship with building/management company & potential officemates
    • Snacks/supplies ordering & maintenance, as needed  
    • Help Ops team to build out repeatable processes & structure
    • Miscellaneous admin
  • Culture 
    • Help to ideate & plan office/team events 
    • Work with fellow Ops Associate to onboard new hire
Sales Ops Support 
  • Help to support the sales team with needed coverage and licensing documentation, applications & updates 
  • Help to research new programs & opportunities 
  • Other tasks as needed & as you evolve in the role 

What We’re Seeking: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in business operations

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Extensive customer-facing experience 
  • Experience working for a startup
  • Experience with customer support & CRM tools, such as Intercom and/or Zendesk 
  • You’ve built out new systems, processes and/or methodologies that are still in use at current or past companies 
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce and/or insurance spaces
