    The primary responsibility of the Risk Resource Administrative Assistant position is to handle seminar registrations, payments, and corresponding seminar materials for office, practice administrative professionals, and public and private physician events sponsored by ProAssurance. The Risk Resource Administrative Assistant provides a wide range of administrative support for the department and insureds. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     Register seminar attendees by phone, mail, and email 15

     Coordinate events scheduled by ProAssurance including office, practice administrative professional and physician seminars 15

     Handle seminar payments (online and checks) and balances with Accounting each month and at year end 25

     Performs administrative and office support activities for department. 5

     Answer and direct departmental phone calls 5

     Prepare reports, letters, and memos 5

     Occasional travel to the seminars 15

     Entry of CME granted into database for ACCME 5

     Assist with special projects 5

     Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management. 5


     High School Diploma required. Some college coursework or additional certification preferred.

     Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

     Dependable and detail oriented.

     Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel

     Extensive software skills required as well as Internet research abilities.

     Strong communication skills.

     Must be able to lift 30lbs.
