The QA Integration Specialist is responsible for creating, documenting, communicating and coaching company policy for integration testing. The QA Integration Specialist will have strong communication skills capable of communicating with resources at any skill level. Perform strategic/tactical planning and execution for integrated and complex automation and manual testing. Develop, train and enforce the adherence of defined automated and manual practices to quality assurance standards. The QA Integration Specialist will work closely with multiple teams, platforms and active software versions.
What You'll Do
- Work well and communicate with the resources across the company at all role and skill levels
- Perform strategic/tactical planning and execution for integrated and complex automation and manual testing, including developing project plans; scheduling; budget tracking; asset inventory; deliverables; and corporate reporting
- Advise departmental leadership on industry standards and best practices in the area of integration testing
- Lead and champion product quality and enforce quality gates
- Be a trusted technology partner to business/product and engineering function counter parts
- Create and sustain integration infrastructure for multi-platform and multi-version suites of products
- Create manual and automated test plans for UI/API
- Identify inefficiencies in Test Environment and recommend improvements
- Track industry standards and trend and initiate continuous improvements
- Coordinate environments across all products and multiple active versions of individual products
- Show proficiency in multiple types of testing; Integration, Functional, Automation, Performance, Load, Data Validation, Security, etc
- Develop short-term and long-term planning to maintain alignment with the company's current and future needs
- Participates in Program Increment (PI) planning for all product teams to determine need for integration testing
- Perform Project Manager duties, including developing project plans; scheduling; budget tracking; asset inventory; deliverables; and corporate reporting
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IS/IT or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years UAT experience working with multiple Product/Business Owners
- 4+ years of experience overseeing test execution of different types of products working with multiple project teams at the same time
- 4+ years of general automation and regression testing experience
- 2+ years of experience using open source testing tools
- Creative entrepreneurial mindset with confidence to explore new approaches and means of value creation
- Ability to excel in communicating ideas
- Experience with DEVOPS, CI/CD and RESTful practices
- Experience with data preparation/obfuscating
- Experience in leading/managing projects, using structured project tracing tools such as JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, MS Project or SharePoint
- Experience testing with multiple platforms
- Experience with TDD/BDD/ATDD products and processes
- Familiar with serverless concepts
- Experience in drafting policies and standard operating procedures for integration testing and environment
