We are seeking a full-time dedicated Sales Development Representative to drive the pre-sales function, where you will be given the opportunity to develop and build relationships with prospects and grow our sales pipeline. The job will be based out of our San Francisco CA, office.
· Making outbound business-to-business calls, evangelizing and educating potential customers of the value of Genus AI
· Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and additional sales tools to identify decision makers within targeted accounts to begin sales process
· Qualifying and initiating relationships with new leads
· Complete weekly reports and maintain customer records in Copper (CRM)
· Identify new business opportunities
· Undertaking associated administration tasks as and when required
· Achieve meeting targets as set by Leadership Team
· Collaborate directly with the CEO, VP of Commercial and other relevant individuals to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
What we’re looking for:
· BA or University degree in a business related field
· Three years of experience in B2B internal sales, initiating outbound calls/appointment making
· Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads
· Can demonstrate ambition with the desire to succeed
· High level of self-motivation
· Evidence of working towards objectives and achieving goals
· Can provide successful evidence of working in a target related environment
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment
· Confident telephone manner with excellent communication skills
It would be great if you also have:
· Experience selling SaaS solutions in the AI space
· Experience with Copper CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
· Passionate about data, machine learning, and AI
· Previous experience working at a start-up
