Regional Sales Manager

 Gentis Solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Regional Sales Management, with knowledge of analytical instrumentation and the Gas, Chemical and/or Semiconductor industries.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Regional Sales Management, of analytical instrumentation in the Gas, Chemical and/or Semiconductor industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  A Technical (engineering or science) degree is a plus. 
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience with proven, demonstrated track record of successful sales.
  • Travel expectations are as needed to achieve budget goals (66% – 75% overnight travel).
  • Strong business acumen in dealing with customers from direct contacts to senior management/decision-makers.
  • Experiences in target setting, KPI utilization, and budget management.
  • Great analytical and planning skills and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and leadership skills. 
  • Must be a team player, task-oriented, ability to work under pressure.
  • Candidate must be results-driven with a proven ability to sell and project a positive, professional attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working within multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Technical proficiency a must (Salesforce.com or other CRM products, MS Office, Epicor ERP a plus.).
  • Understanding technical requirements from customers.
  • Follow trends in the end market to understand the market environment and specify what to sell and promote.
  • Enhancing your knowledge on your own products and competitor's offers.
  • Development of solutions for market entry barriers.
  • Maintain current customer servicing and develop new opportunities to assure business development.
  • Building up a good relationship with clientele.
  • Close interaction with other departments on orders (e.g. planning department, sales, logistics, forwarders
  • Building up systems to ease the follow up of orders place with vendors. 

Position Duties:
  • Achieve or exceed agreed upon sales goals
  • Identify sales opportunities for target customers, develop new sales channel; explore market demand and develop the new potential customer
  • Set clear, actionable short-term/ long-term goals to maximize performance
  • Create and apply sales strategies to improve monthly turnover and market growth
  • Analyze sales performance and define respective actions/plans for growth
  • Plan and implement marketing strategy, including advertising, exhibition, and PR
  • Analyze market requirements and competitor activities and communicate/report accordingly
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction and quality service
  • Lead / coordinate and participate actively technical activities
  • Build, manage, and strengthen the relationship with key decision-makers and innovation leaders
  • Support Finance with accounts receivable and AR collections efforts
  • Organize product training for customer periodically, and roadshows
  • Prepare reports (sales, budget, inventories) which give the management a solid and focused overview, as needed.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Develop and execute strategic Sales and Marketing plans and contribute to product development roadmap.
  • Participate in relevant exhibitions and conferences.
