Campaign Manager

Gentis Solutions is seeking a Campaign Management Analyst to support the planning and execution of personalized marketing communications. Using automated campaign management software, executes direct-to-consumer campaigns via a variety of media (direct mail, email, etc.) Leverage existing segmentation data to create segments within the software in order to execute the campaigns. Accountable for the production of data files for customer marketing campaigns from planning stage to dispatch of data.

EXPERIENCE: 
  • 1-3 years of work experience in developing database, direct, one-to-one or customer relationship marketing strategies and reporting methodologies 
  • 1-3 years of experience in creating, executing, maintaining, and analyzing marketing strategies 
  • Experience leading the implementation of a new campaign management system; ideally will have led CMS implementation for a large company 
  • Previous project management experience 
  • Knowledge of retail industry is helpful, but not required 
  • Workflow and QA/testing within campaign management platforms 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 
  • Deep knowledge of automated campaign management systems and demonstrable experience of using one or more industry-leading systems (IBM/UNICA, SAS) 
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation methodologies 
  • Strong analytical & mathematical skills 
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Access & Outlook) 
  • Workflow and QA & testing within email deployment platform 
  • Knowledge of retail industry is helpful, but not required 
  • Experience coding in SQL is helpful, but not required 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Completes the execution of personalized marketing campaigns (currently direct mail & email; sms, mobile coming soon) using pre-built customer segmentation data and campaign management software 
  • Delivers standard campaign reports on a weekly and monthly basis and to develop new reports as required to support all marketing communications 
  • Establishes and maintains quality assurance procedures to ensure the delivery of error-free marketing communications to our customers and prospects, implemented timely and accurately 
  • Develops and maintains an on-going and detailed understanding of the data which supports the segmentation methodologies in use 
  • Manages the flow of communication metrics (e.g. open and click rates) from the delivery vendors (e.g. email service providers) back into the campaign management system 
  • Acts as a liaison between the business users and IT for campaign set up and overall management using both campaign management solution as well as back end data sources such as CDW 
  • Participates on cross-functional teams to support maintenance & enhancement of personalized marketing 
  • Adopts new technologies; develops and evolves business practices to support all personalized marketing
