About the Role
We are seeking certified Medical Lab Technicians (MLTs) that will work within a mobile laboratory environment. As we work to quickly and accurately bring data and results into the doctor’s office, this role will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory procedures, patient blood drawing, accessioning, labeling, laboratory testing, and preparing specimens for send outs, inventory and other administrative tasks. The MLT will work alongside and communicate with various Clinical Lab Scientists and other clinical staff.
Our role will be field based with duties including:
- Moderate level testing as described by CLIA.
- Specimen Processing
- Preparing Samples
This role is an evening shift role so we are looking for those interested in working a typical work week, but at 2pm-10pm from Monday to Friday. This role requires a license by the state of California as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), meeting the minimum required coursework in biological science, chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and physics; and recommended courses in parasitology and clinical chemistry. Beyond this requirement, we are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable of CLIA regulations and regulatory procedures. Our most successful candidates come to us with strong communication skills to interact with patients, doctors and other office staff. They are able to work independently, have a high attention to detail and quality, and can handle and resolve challenges in the field.
