Marketing Coordinator
Summary: Plan and implement effective strategies to recruit and retain new donors in Pasco, Washington. Provide ongoing support to marketing supervisor and center to implement appropriate donor recruitment programs. Measure effectiveness of the programs.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
• Ability to implement marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities.
• Implement promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
• Support corporate promotions.
• Ability to maintain performance reports.
• Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
• Assist with budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
• Provide analytical and marketing support including development of monthly reports, and Trends tracking and processing.
• Analyze data, highlight exception areas and make recommendations for business improvement.
• Coordinate presentations and event/meeting planning.
• Measure advertising programs’ effectiveness and strategies; provide feedback accordingly including marketing programs that were created in the center.
• Coordinate with center to develop customized marketing to increase donor traffic.
• Coordinate and assist with donor incentive programs.
• Monitor database to measure performance at the center; keep score of center performances; monitor for changes and alert manager when issues arise.
• Prospect business partnerships and make contact with community organizations and groups.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and as otherwise posted or communicated.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in marketing and donor recruitment or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Must be proficient in English and Spanish
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills including proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Works well independently and is organized
• Excellent team player and ability to work with others
• Ability to travel as required
• Valid Driver’s license
Physical Demands: Performing the responsibilities of the job requires ability to talk and hear. Often required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. May occasionally have to lift, tug, and pull up to 25 lbs.
