  • ·                 The IT Enterprise Asset Management (ITEAM) Project Manager is primarily responsible for maintaining data files and control procedures for a system of networked personal computers or for a group of desktop computers linked to a host server. Job Responsibilities/Duties include (but are not limited to):

    -      Provide hardware and software asset management to meet NESDIS Inventory Requirements using a variety of platform applications

    -      Provide day-to-day management and support for the hardware components

    -      Be certified or eligible for certification on Sunflower Systems Enterprise Asset Management

    -      Support client’s Asset management Process Review project

    -      Produce periodic touch, monthly/quarterly inventory reports, generate output such as labels, letters, and forms, and respond to frequent management request for information

    -      May be a resident expert for applications running on a department-wide LAN or for the entire computer system in a smaller enterprise

    -      Work after hours and at other NOAA facilities may be required periodically

    -      Assist with evaluation, additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the client, particularly for the Asset Management staff

    -      Assist staff with monitoring, processing, trouble-shooting, reporting and reconciling Asset Management activity, particularly as it interacts with other modules and missions

    -      Perform Analysis of Scan Data to validate the current Inventory 
    -      Maintain a 95% Scan to inventory ratio
